Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, Mothers Helping Hands Homecare is licensed by the Georgia Department of Community Health as a Private Home Care Provider and Insured and Bonded.

How are your caregivers screened and selected?

We screen all caregivers that apply to our agency, by going through fingerprint background checks, sex offender registries, and reference checks. We require all of our caregivers to have TB clearance, CPR/BLS Certification, Resume, References check, etc.

What kind of payments do you accept?

We accept Private Pay, Long-Term Insurance, Medicaid, CCSP, Source & GAPP.

Do I need to pay for In-Home Assessments?

No, our In-Home Assessments are free. Just call us to find out more about our In-Home Free Assessments.

What type of services do you provide?

What is Children’s GAPP Program

Medicaid’s Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP), an in-home nursing program is designed to serve eligible members based on a medical necessity determination(s) for children under the age of 20 years 11 months.

How do I qualify for the GAPP Program

Members seeking services through GAPP’s In-Home Nursing Program must have medically necessary nursing and/or personal care support needs for services to be approved. Eligible members should currently be receiving physician ordered services to be considered eligible for this program. Contact the GAPP Program Specialist at 404-657-7882.

What is CCSP and how do I qualify?

CCSP (Community Care Services Program) is a Medicaid home and community-based waiver service programs that provide social, health, and support services to eligible consumers as an alternative to placement in a nursing home. If you want to request CCSP services, you can call 866-55-AGING (866-552-4464), to see if you are eligible.

What is SOURCE and how do I qualify?

SOURCE (Service Options Using Resources in a Community Environment) offers personal support services, assisted living services,
extended home health, home-delivered meals, etc. to qualified individuals. Please call 1-866-552-4464, for more information and to see if you qualify.

What are your hours of operations?

Our business office hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Our on call is 24/7.

Do you only provide services to seniors?

No, We are licensed to provide care from birth and up, and to individuals with disabilities too.

How do I arrange for services?

How do I determine what kind of services I need?

With your physician order, our RN will give you a full assessment to determine what services you may require.
